I was using there Sunshine & Happiness

which tell the story on these photos.

My granddaughter love the sunshine 

and she always happy.

This was Mila first time at the beach

on their family camping trip.

She enjoy playing in the water and 

taking pictures with her family.

This the only girl with 4 big brothers.

She one lucky girl.

I did one photo at 5x7 and the rest were

4x6 photos. Some I left at 4x6 and other

I cutdown.

over top of each other to made

A great Mother Day card.

I use a cream corrugated paper not

found in the kit to add some dimension 

to this card.

Life Better in.......

.....Flip Flop

This line from Carta Bella is a very beach line

but I was out of my beach photo.

So I was think of what I could use

and then I remembered that we 

had taken photos of 

Flip Flop and Seahorse balloons

 from the Balloon Festival in 

Albuquerque, New Mexico last October.

So "Life is better in Flip Flop"

even in a balloon.

I got Carta Bella " Beach Day" from

The Double Shot kit

From the ScrapRoom.

Game Time

Have some fun and really think out of the box on this one.

Cut yourself a large circle out on your back ground paper 

and ink the inside edge of the circle with a fun color.

I also so cut two more small circles to add to the layout.

I placed one of the circles under the lager cut out circle 

just peeking out half way then I place a second pattern 

paper under both of them. Thus creating dimension on 

the page.

My daughter and granddaughter love playing the game

in Downtown Disney on the Boardwalk.

They are each orthers best friends. 

This line from Fancy Pants -Millie and June

was perfect for this picture for one reason 

is my granddaughter love pink and it not

100% Disney which is fun.

For this layout I used 

Simple Story - Bloom & Grow 

from the The ScrapRoom 

for somethings different for 

my Disney layout.

This line still had a touch of Disney 

with it red with white dots.

I add some white mist by 

splattering it on the blue card 

stock background. 

Downtown Disney is also known

as the Boardwalk that were

the woodgrain paper plays off

the boardwalk.

My granddaughter had a lot of

fun running around the downtown

and so did I.

I had a lot a fun making these cards.

I've been trying to make a card

after very layout that I complete

using my scraps.

When I'm make my cards from
my scraps I sometimes find even the
smallest scraps can be used on my cards.
As you can see.

Photoplay "Summer Daydreams"
I want to bring something back that
I haven't used in a long time on my pages.
"Mash" it was very hot about 15 years ago.
And if you are anything like me you
have some still hanging around your craft room.
I've been try to use some my old thing
with my new items.

My Mind's Eye "By The Sea"
I used the same back ground stamp
on this card as I used on my layout.
I also used the same blue ink to stamp the
back ground that I use to ink the edges
that help to pull it all together.

Today is the second half of the Double Shot Kit.

This line was great for the photo of my 

husband do Deep Sea Fishing in Hawaii.

As might see I use the back

Side of most of the paper collection.

I did a little bit of stamp on the back

ground. Most of the time I ink my edges 

with a brown but for this layout I decide to

Ink them a blue to a little fun.

I do enjoy doing fussy cutting to my the 

waves out of the pattern paper for

this page.

I hope you enjoy this layout and it help 

to think out of the box.

How Sweet

How Sweet It Is

Ella is one of the sweetest girl around

on her first day of school.

I use the sketch from The ScrapRoom 

To inspire my layout.

And I also used American Crafts Paper

"Better Together " for my layout

that I got from The ScrapRoom 

Double Shot Kit.

As you can see I rotated the sketch and I also did not

do the small round photo.

You don't always have to do the sketch exactly

you can rotate it, add or remove a item from the sketch.

But the most important thing to remember is 

to have FUN!

Build, Stomp, & Smash

That is what my granddaughter did to her very first

sand castle. We took a day to go to the beach on 

our Disney World  advantage.

She was not to sure of the ocean at first

but after a bit you couldn't keep her out.

You know some time when you don't have enough letters to

do your titles you my want to mix it up

like I did for this layout. To make

my title stand out I use large letters to make

the point of my title. Then is I used smaller

letter and mixed up the colors.

Well I hope maybe next time you are short letters to 

a title you might mix it up like I did.

I fell in love with this bird at the

Bellagio's garden. To me some birds

are from heaven. Sent to us to brighten up our day.

I use my Lucky 8 punch from WeR to

make my half round circle doily. And as

you can tell I like to fussy cut thing out.

Good Morning !

I want to share with you my completed 

Sketch Challenge from 

The ScrapRoom.

I you don't have to follow the sketch 100%

But is came pretty close. I did add a few extra piece

 of paper to my layout.

I worked in a tone on tone in brown's with 

a touch of pink.

In the photo is my mom who had

a big thing for President Lincoln.

To give some dimension to the background 

I rub a white cats eye over the Swiss dot paper.

Below is the Sketch I was working with.

We had such a great time at the show

with our family.

To bump up the background I used a blue mist 

and I swipe a while mist on the black card stock.

The title I used Thickers with a adhesive on the top

were I could add glitter to it.

I had more photos from my parents 

Wedding day that I want to scrap.

So I used my leftover scraps to create this layout.

I use Simple Stories "Heart " line 

This  is a nice complementary page to go with my Love layout.

Fun with twine

Fun with Twine.....

Twine is now a big thing to be used I on our layouts.

I mixed the twine with some of my wood pieces by 

wrapping it around the wood hearts. You could even 

use chipboard pieces to wrap.

 

April Color Challenge

I just want to show off my

layout that I did last

Taste of color challenge

We could pick 3-5 of the colors
 to work with.
I decided to do all 5 of the color.
I like to challenge myself.

My Mine's Eye Card

Good Morning Everyone.

I would like to share with you a card I made with 

My Mine's Eye paper

that I use from The ScrapRoom using the 

Double Shot Kit.

I share with my layout I made earlier this month.

I use my scrap from the layout.

Here the layout I did with the line just in case my might have missed it.

What a fun line from Simple Stories

Let's Party.

This line was so good for my dad surprise birthday party.

I cut balloons and the with background  shape

 using my Cricut using 

Stretch Your Imagination cartridge.

In the with background shape I went crazy with my

mists splatting all over the page making it look

like confetti on the page.

 I also used some more bronze leafing in the 

#80 to make stand out.

Now you know what it did but you might with to know 

were you can get this line. I got it from The ScrapRoom and it the 

Double Shot kit from them.
